Dear readers,
On the behalf of the INLS MD chapter, it’s my pleasure to declare our adoration for publishing Priya’s book of fantasy Super Gal. It is a matter of joy and pride to see such an extraordinary ability and rigor of creativity in nine years old budding writer.
Preeya’s power of fantasy silently questions every adult who thinks and links creative ingenuity only as a product of age and matured life experience. Super Gal, moreover, pleased readers with power of believe that creative persons can offer a lot beyond their age if he/she is nourishes in healthy environment. Eventually, their outcome surprises everybody opening up a door of new possibility. Preeya, in this light, unfolded this dimension capturing the power and joy of imagination. Let this imagination be an exemplary job to hundred thousand of Nepali children across the globe. Let this generation take initiation for the international voyage of Nepali Literature. Let every Nepali child carry same banner of culture and identity and speak out loud their thoughts and make world listen who we are.
We imagine children’s joy upon encountering Preeya’s words enhanced by color images that drive them to the world of Super Gal.
I heartily thank a pioneer in Nepali diasporic writing, Mr Homnath Subedi, who helped us by bearing all publication expenses of this book. He agreed on this point that Nepali writers can speak in any language they feel comfortable enhancing Nepali language, literature, culture and identity. I take this opportunity to thank my hardworking team-Pooja Chanda, Gautam Dahal, Chandra Bishwokarma, Tirtha Pandey, Sanjaya Adhikari, Arjun Hamal, and Raj Senchuri- who made it possible. INLS MD chapter team will make every effort possible to publish more and more books of such type in the days ahead.
